By the time this has posted I’ll be well on my way to the Twin Cities. My parents are taking a weekend there and we’re going to go meet up with them and then just hang out for the rest of the weekend. Of course, I never leave for the Cities without a shopping list, and this trip is no exception:
- Drumsticks
- Some kind of pointy footwear
- A car. You know, like a Prelude. Or a Del Sol. Or an 850. Or a Passat, 900, 9-3, Miata, etc etc etc.
I’ll be back sometime on Sunday. In the meantime I’ll have a couple ghost-posts set up so there is still some daily content.
I like this photo.
Since when do you play drums? And why not buy drumsticks locally?
Fortunately they don’t do a background check, so I can buy drumsticks without necessarily having talent of some sort. But in my head I am the best drummer of all time.
Also, how can you not love a place called Gee-tar City?
Once I liked guitar center, then I wised up after being constantly annoyed by 15-year- old-no-musical- skill-at-all kids constantly cranking up guitar amps and banging on drums.
Isn’t a 900 an older version of a 9-3. Being that they stopped making the cool hatchbacks in 2002 a 900 is way too old now. But you’re in luck cause the ’02s are just filling used car lots now as the original leases are up. rock.
The nice thing about GC is that it’s so anonymous, so I don’t have to actually have talent to be in there.
The 9-3, you’re right, is just an updated 900, at least before they sold out. I think that topic is worthy of its own post.
