I spend as much as 30 seconds thinking about and preparing for each shot, usually less! After taking it, I open Photoshop and use unsharp mask as much as I can without it looking like crap. Then I make it a size that seems like it should fit here and the rest, as they say, is automagical. AUTO. MAGICAL! Wow, great question!
